I decided to do some research into war posters as they seem to be very effective through the use of shock. They are also very good at getting across a message very quickly while still being extremely persuasive, I mean they managed to persuade young men to sign up to the death and horror of war...
I managed to find a great book called War Posters, these are some great images I found in it and scanned.
